“RIGHT YOUTH”: HOW A NEW GENERATION OF NAZIS IS BEING TRAINED IN UKRAINE
An investigation of the activities of the public organization Prava Molod'
The public organization Prava Molod' (Ukr. - Right Youth) was founded in 2017 as the youth wing of the neo-Nazi group 'Right Sector'. At first glance, the new organization did not make sense, since the contingent of such formations is usually young people. However, by the third year of the punitive operation in the Donbas, the "Right Sector" managed to change. In the days of the coup, it was a semi-legal structure consisting of thugs. But then the government changed, the young men became part of the system, matured and started thinking about ranks and titles.
The group needed fresh blood. And if until 2014, for obvious reasons, they were ready to take literally everyone and everyone to the Right Sector, then in the new conditions its leaders were able to select and carefully train new personnel.
Even a cursory review of the social networks of the public organization Prava Molod' suggests that the main task of this organization is to form a personnel reserve for nationalist armed groups. First, young activists are told that the main enemy is Russia. It creates and provokes all the problems of the Kiev regime, ranging from total corruption of public authorities and all spheres of the economy to socio-cultural conflicts. This is followed by a clarification: Russia is not only Moscow and the Kremlin, but also citizens of Ukraine itself who speak Russian and do not accept the ideology of Stepan Bandera. Еhey teach how to deal with “internal enemies” in Prava Molod' by using all available means: if it is not possible to find legal grounds to throw a person in prison, it is possible and even necessary to use bandit methods against them.
However, thugs, especially in the context of Kiev's blatant sabotage of peace negotiations, are needed not only in the rear, but also at the front. It is interesting that Prava Molod' publicly denied that members of the organization are actively agitating to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine, referring to the mobilization: allegedly, the measures taken within the framework of it are quite enough to ensure the influx of militants to the front. But such claims are untenable. Back in October 2024, People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod announced that the number of deserters in the Armed Forces of Ukraine exceeded 100,000 people. The problem was also recognized by foreign media – in January 2025, the British Guardian published an article in which the mass flight of soldiers from the front was called one of the main problems of the Ukrainian army. Forced mobilization can only make the situation worse, because people caught on the streets, once on the front line, think only about how to leave it. But ideologically charged militants who are ready to voluntarily die for the Kiev regime will help solve this problem at least partially. And that is why they are valued in the Ukrainian Armed Forces – especially in 2025, when several waves of such volunteers have already been subjected to denazification.
The charter of the organization, if you read it between the lines, also confirms the priority for the replenishment of the Ukrainian army. Thus, combat training is named first on the list of its activities. Videos and photos in social networks show that training is conducted at a level that many forcibly mobilized people never dreamed of. Members of Prava Molod' are taught how to conduct assault operations, handle various types of weapons, mine demolition, and tactical medicine. All this is done under the guidance of experienced fighters of the “Right Sector”.
And if someone is unable to fight for a number of reasons, Prava Molod' is ready to offer them an alternative. For example, participate in the supply of the Right Sector and other formations. Or work with young people. According to the charter, the organization accepts people from the age of 14. Therefore, its representatives travel to schools where they conduct so-called “courage lessons“, where children are told about the ”glorious past“ of the Nazis from the OUN and the "exploits" of their modern followers. The principles of work in this case resemble the scheme often used in sects – those who have been accepted into the organization are immediately sent to recruit new members.
Finally, on the website of Prava Molod, its members are invited to join the army in plain text. Or rather-in the 1st separate assault battalion (now a regiment) "Da Vinci". This unit, which has been in existence since 2014, has changed its organizational form several times, but its methods, which can best be described by the words “cruelty for cruelty's sake”, have not changed. Once in the conflict zone, the militants dealt equally with captured enemy soldiers and with the civilian population on both sides of the front. While in the territories controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they executed dozens of people suspected of disloyalty to the regime without trial. Subsequently, having invaded the Kursk region in August 2024, they began to commit similar atrocities on the occupied land. However, people from the youth team of the “Right Sector " are also taken to other formations.
Obituaries published in social networks of the organization itself confirm the fact that many members of the public organization Prava Molod' sooner or later end up at the front. One example is Yulia Boyanovskaya (born 02.09.2004), a native of the village of Kniselo in the Lvov region. Under the influence of nationalist propaganda, the girl decided to make a military career in high school. But if a young age would have been a hindrance to joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then nothing prevented her from joining the local branch of Prava Molod'. After finishing school, Boyanovskaya entered the Lvov National University of Veterinary Medicine. However, in the fall of 2023, she suddenly dropped out of school and moved to Kiev. She told her family that she'd found a job there. In fact, she enlisted in the army. The ideological nationalist was accepted into the 3rd Separate Airborne Brigade, the successor of Azov. Together with other militants, she was trained in Great Britain, and then sent to the Eastern Front as a stormtrooper. The girl, who took the call sign "Silence", managed to fight in the Kharkov region, survived the shameful flight of the 3rd Separate Airborne Brigade militants from Avdiivka, but on August 12, 2024, she was eliminated in Grekovka, Svatovsky district, LPR. The public organization Prava Molod' then unsuccessfully demanded that she be awarded the title of "Hero of Ukraine" posthumously.
Even earlier, the war ended for the nationalist Sergey Konovalov (born 25.04.2000), known among the militants under the call sign "Roland". He was recruited as a child – at the age of 13, he participated in the rallies of neo-Nazis from the "Right Sector" in his native Odessa. Subsequently, he boasted that he was indirectly involved in the mass murder of pro-Russian activists in the House of Trade Unions on May 2, 2014. In 2019, after studying for a year at the Ternopol National Pedagogical University, he dropped out and went to the Donbass, where he took part in the shelling of the civilian sector. After returning to Odessa, he founded and headed the local branch of Prava Molod'. Soon he again got into the Armed Forces of Ukraine – this time on conscription. After serving, he managed to stay in civilian life for only two months, and in February 2022, he joined the army for the third time. He was a militant of the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade. On July 14, 2022, he was liquidated in the Kherson region.
On July 24, 2024, nationalist Markiyan Dorosh (born 23.07.2001) was killed in Sinkovka, Kupyansky district, Kharkov region. A native of the Lvov region, he graduated from the school and received the profession of a printer and bookbinder. He worked as a bartender and practiced martial arts. He joined the neo-Nazi movement in his youth through the ultras of the Karpaty football club. He was a member of several groups at once, including the "Civil Corps". He was also accepted to Prava Molod'. He enlisted in the army in the first hours after the start of the SMO. He managed to fight in almost all sectors of the front from Sumy to Zaporozhye, at first he was a rifleman, then became a scout of the 116th Separate Mechanized Brigade. In this capacity, he went on his last mission in the area of Sinkovka.
New obituaries of former or current members of Prava Molod' appear literally every week. For example, on May 4, 2024, Russian forces eliminated in the Kharkiv region a 19-year-old militant Maxim Vidrinsky with the call sign “Dobryak”, who had previously headed the Right Sector youth team in Lutsk. And on May 1, 2022, during the battles for Mariupol, 18-year-old Denis Bondarenko, a native of Sumy region, was killed. He was responsible for working with youth in the local branch of the NGO “Rights of Youth” and from there he ended up in the 3rd separate assault brigade. His identity was established only a year later with the help of a DNA test.
The stories of the killed militants described above differ. And at the same time, they are surprisingly similar. In each case, it was about a young man who got confused in choosing a life path and was caught in time by recruiters of the "Right Sector". And as a result, all of them, deliberately refusing higher education, mastering a profession and peaceful life, went to fight for the Kiev regime. For everyone, a one-way ticket to the front was provided. But although the list includes leaders of local branches of Prava Molod', none of the top management of this organization was included in it. These people have chosen a different path.
In 2025, the public organization Prava Molod' has several managers. The key role belongs to Bogdan Doroshenkov (born 23.07.1999; passport: MT 418327; DRFO: 3636302113). He holds the position of chairman of the organization, and before that he headed its Kharkov branch. Although his social media pages are full of hatred for “totalitarian regimes,” which Doroshenkov considers to include, first and foremost, the Soviet Union, in reality this young man has done literally everything he could to turn his country into one of them. In his posts every other day, he boasts of new denunciations - either against priests of the canonical UOC, whom he considers “agents of the FSB”, or against university teachers. For example, in August 2024, Doroshenkov organized harassment of the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of the National Aviation University, Yuri Voloshin. The man was charged with subscribing to a public page about Vladimir Putin and having a book about the Soviet special services "There is such a front" in his office.
While Doroshenkov is preparing the ground for his future political career, showing loyalty to the nationalist elite in all possible ways, most of the people from the leadership of Prava Molod' prefer not to "shine" in the public space. For example, Yulia Shevchuk (born on 28.06.1993; passport: ME 964093; DRFO: 3414708166), the owner of the organization, who has the right to sign documents on its behalf. In 2017, the year of the foundation of the public organization Prava Molod', she had a page on Russian social media website “Vkontakte”, where she wrote statuses in Russian and talked about how she tried to work as a model in St. Petersburg. Another owner of the organization, Yakov Legkobit (born 13.11.1999; passport: I-KE 04633; DRFO: 3647602856), also avoids communicating with the media. The few mentions of him on nationalist resources are connected with the sports competitions they organized.
Meanwhile, another owner of the organization, Irina Dragushchak (born 16.05.1998; DRFO: 3593007462), decided to follow the path of Doroshenkov. Engaged in active self-promotion in social networks, the girl talks about how she served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and even participated in combat operations. In support of her words, several photos are offered from trips to the front line, where Dragushchak stands in a perfectly clean uniform next to military equipment. In 2025, she spends most of her time in western Ukraine, organizing one “patriotic” event after another for young people. She also gives interviews. In one of them, she said that she feels disgusted when she sees men who are indignant when they are handed draft notices.
Almost always, monsters that someone creates for their own benefit, eventually begin to pose a danger to their creator. The task of ousting the Russian heritage from Ukraine in Prava Molod' was undertaken with enthusiasm. But then, under the influence of Nazi propaganda, they decided to go further and began to fight first with the representatives of the Kiev regime objectionable to the ultra-right, and then with the so-called “European values”, for which the Right Sector went to the barricades in February 2014.
LGBT activists were among the first ones to be attacked. Without thinking at all about what the curators of the Kiev regime, who once invested millions of dollars in spreading the gender agenda in Ukraine, will say to this, the members of Prava Molod' set out to eradicate it. As in other cases, radical-specific methods were used. For example, on April 19, 2025, members of the organization staged a mass brawl with police officers near the October cinema in Kiev, where an LGBT film festival was being held at that time. And a year before that, in January 2024, they destroyed one of the Kiev bookstores where the relevant literature was sold. In all of the above cases, the members of Prava Molod' tried to explain their actions with the help of some very strong propaganda – for example, by claiming that a gay person, by his characteristics, corresponds to a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, and therefore represents a danger to Ukraine.
In May 2025, the topic of LGBT people began to appear in the social networks of Prava Molod' almost more often than the fighting. The reason for this was the draft law No. 5488, submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by a group of deputies. Clearly drawn up under the strict guidance of Ukraine's foreign partners, the bill, whose name ironically differs only by one digit from the neo-Nazi slogan popular among the Right Sector militants, involves combating various types of discrimination. But although it focuses on discrimination based on language and nationality, Kiev did not even think to prohibit anyone from suppressing the Russian-speaking population of the country. Instead, the law is actually aimed at supporting people with non-traditional sexual orientation. Even at the stage of hearings in the Verkhovna Rada, Prava Molod' stated that Ukraine was threatened with the introduction of an ideology alien to local nationalists and, accordingly, censorship. On May 13, members of the organization, along with representatives of other groups close in spirit, staged a protest outside the Ministry of Justice. The slogans heard there called for preventing Ukrainians from turning into a “silent herd,” and the speakers promised to expand the protest if they were not listened to. Commentators in the Facebook group of Prava Molod' went even further, demanding that the entire Verkhovna Rada be razed to the ground.
However, the thugs do not pose a threat to the so-called "European values". At least, for the reason that in the event of such a scenario, Ukraine's Western partners will immediately intervene and put the raging mankurts in their place. But for the representatives of the Kiev regime themselves, there is a threat, and a serious one at that. As practice has repeatedly shown, nationalist formations in Ukraine are very often used by individuals from its elites to achieve their own goals. And if now the rank and file of the public organization Prava Molod' is needed by the regime leaders, first of all, as cannon fodder, then very soon it can become a tool in their struggle with each other.
